On the morning of February 3, 2026, the Institute of International Education (IIE) – Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCM-UTE) (formerly Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education) welcomed a delegation from Tongmyong University (Republic of Korea) (TU) for a working visit, within the framework of the annual cooperation program between the two institutions.
Representing HCM-UTE at the meeting were:

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Huy Tuan – Vice Director of the Institute of International Education

During the working session, the two parties exchanged views and reviewed the effectiveness of the implementation of international joint training programs between HCM-UTE and TU in recent years. In addition, representatives of both institutions discussed strategic cooperation orientations for the new development phase, with a focus on expanding joint training programs into potential academic fields that align with workforce demands in the context of international integration.
The meeting served as an important occasion for both sides to further consolidate and reaffirm the sustainable and long-term partnership between HCM-UTE and TU. Based on the discussions and mutual agreements reached, the cooperation is expected to provide HCM-UTE students with new learning opportunities and valuable international experiences in the Republic of Korea.
